- Our Mission
In 1970, the Late Haji Amir Khan proposed a Muslim orphanage, which began in 1972 with community support. The institution expanded over the years, adding facilities and offering both Islamic and secular education. Key developments include the establishment of Fiji’s first Darul Ifta’a in 2000, recognition by the Higher Education Commission – Fiji in 2011, and the opening of the Darul Uloom Vocational Centre in 2023. Today, it serves orphans and the broader community, reflecting a strong commitment to education and empowerment.
